LAUREN JONES

Lauren Jones joined Blackwood in 2015 to support the organization’s operational efforts and was elevated to Director of Operations, where she began to build out the division and operations team that exists today. Lauren currently serves as the VP of Business Operations where she oversees operational design, accounting, financial and corporate compliance functions, along with daily operations tied to Human Resources and Customer Experience. Blending her trademark integrity with creative operative techniques, Lauren spearheads organizational effectiveness through the implementation of systems, process, and tools used by the company to deliver the experiences and superior level of support that Blackwood is known for throughout the industry.  

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from West Virginia University, and a master’s degree in Management, with a concentration in marketing, from UMGC. Prior to joining Blackwood, she served in various leadership roles at Nordstrom. Outside of the office, Lauren lives for spending time with her husband, daughter, and two pups. She is also a shark nerd, unofficial animal rescuer (zero credentials, all heart) and a forever WVU Mountaineer fan.
